Crossfit
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning system built on constantly varied, if not randomized, functional movements executed at high intensity.A human motion is full of movement.; standing, sitting, throwing, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, running, and punching.
These natural movements influence the exercises included in CrossFit’s workouts.
Exercises include squat, presses, cleans, pulls and working with and against a resistance. Movements are also explosive.
Strongman/strongwoman exercises
Exercises include farmers walk, tyre runs, tyre flips, barrel toss and throws, rope whips, sand bag runs, tug of war and much more.
Cardio
Bootcamp classes are set up using a circuit based model with emphasis on high intensity and constant work with minimal rest however it is up to the individual how much effort they put in and the intensity level they work at and that is what makes the bootcamp a very desiarable workout.
Toning
Beach bootcamp is ideal for those wanting to tone up, lose weight or build lean muscle. Boxercise involve exercises based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. Exercises include shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, , press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups.Whatever your size, shape or sex. Remember, every boxer will have started from ground level, so anyone and everyone can work their way up to a good level of fitness
Kettlebells
By their nature, typical kettlebell exercises build strength and endurance, particularly in the lower back, legs, and shoulders, and increase grip strength. The basic movements, such as the swing, snatch, and the clean and jerk, engage the entire
body at once, and in a way that mimics real world activities such as shoveling or farm work
Unlike the exercises with dumbbells or barbells, kettlebell exercises often involve large numbers of repetitions. Kettlebell exercises are in their nature holistic; therefore they work several muscles simultaneously and may be repeated continuously for several minutes or with short breaks. This combination makes the exercise partially aerobic and more similar to High-intensity interval training rather than to traditional weight lifting. In one study, kettlebell enthusiasts performing a 20
minute snatch workout were measured to burn, on average, 13.6 calories/minute aerobically and 6.6 calories/minute anaerobically during the entire workout - "equivalent to running a 6-minute mile pace
